BOXING OF PRODUCT
:
Empties must be well-packed (see "Protecting The Cartridges" below).
A minimum of six (6) toner cartridges or drum units must be packed in
one shipping box. Or, a minimum of twenty (20) ink jet cartridges
must be in one shipping box. Empties must be consolidated as
much as possible into as few shipping boxes as possible. Everything should be
boxed securely so as to minimize movement of the cartridges inside during
shipping. Please do not exceed 40 lbs. per shipping box.
PROTECTING THE CARTRIDGES
:
An empty ink jet cartridge needs to be protected to prevent
damage to the printhead. Our preferred method for return is to have each
cartridge individually sealed in zip-lock bags to prevent leaking during
shipping. However, the cartridge printheads can be packaged as follows:
Individually sealed in zip-lock bags; or
Individually wrapped in bubble wrap or paper; or
Individually wrapped in original "clam shell" plastic protector
with a rubber band; or
Inserted into original box.
Empty toner cartridges/drum units
can be packaged without their original boxes as long as they are protected and not
able to jostle around inside the shipping box. This can be done by wrapping each cartridge
or drum with paper or bubble wrap, and using styrofoam peanuts, etc. to prevent movement.
If using peanuts however, make sure the cartridges are wrapped so that the peanuts cannot
get inside the cartridges.
PRODUCT EVALUATION & REBATE CREDIT
:
Upon receipt of empties, we examine the cartridges to determine if they can be
recycled. We only buy back reusable cartridges. We issue credit to
your account which may be applied to future purchases or outstanding balances.
This program is primarily set up for account credit; however, we will give cash
rebates under certain circumstances. Rebate amounts are subject to change without
notice; please call for current rebate amount.
